MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms in 10 states until 6pm (March 31)


PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has warned of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds in 10 states until 6pm on Tuesday (March 31).

In a statement at 2.30pm on Tuesday, MetMalaysia said the states affected are Perlis; Kedah (Kubang Pasu, Kuala Muda, Sik, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu); Perak (Larut, Matang and Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Perak Tengah, Kampar, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim); Selangor (Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling, Kuala Langat, Hulu Langat and Sepang); Negeri Sembilan (Seremban and Port Dickson); Melaka and Johor (Kulai and Kota Tinggi);

It also warned of bad weather in the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya, as well as Sarawak, affecting Sri Aman (Lubok Antu), Sibu (Selangau), Kapit and Bintulu (Tatau).
