Man poisons wife over dowry dispute


A MAN killed his wife with a poison injection over a dowry dispute, Makkal Osai reported.

The man who works as a radiologist and the woman who was a nurse, met at a hospital in Haryana, India, where they both worked. They married in November.

The couple visited her parent’s house for the Holi festival. However, they got into an argument when others had gone out.

Her parents who came home were shocked to find their daughter unconscious and bleeding from her nose. They also found a syringe in the toilet.

The young woman was rushed to hospital but was pronounced dead. The man was detained after her parents lodged a police report.
