Fadillah pays tribute to police on 219th anniversary

KUALA LUMPUR: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof on Wednesday (March 25) extended his highest appreciation and gratitude to all members of the police force for their unwavering service and sacrifices in safeguarding the nation.

In a Facebook post, he said the security forces remain ever ready to carry out their duties regardless of time or circumstance, including during festive seasons when others are able to be with their families.

"Police officers are always on duty, serving without regard to time or occasion. Even during festive periods, when others are with their loved ones, you remain on the front lines to ensure the continued safety and security of the people and the nation," he said.

He added that the slogan "Police and Community Are Inseparable" is more than just words, but is clearly reflected in the dedication and sincerity shown by officers.

"Happy 219th Police Day to all members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM). May Allah continue to protect every step and sacrifice of each officer. Your contributions remain close to the hearts of the people. Thank you, national heroes," he wrote. – Bernama
