KUALA LUMPUR: Two men were killed and another seriously injured after falling from a skylift while performing maintenance work at an apartment in Subang Jaya.
Subang Jaya Police OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat said a team from the USJ 8 station was dispatched to the scene shortly after receiving a distress call at 3.50pm on Monday.
They found all three victims lying near the entrance of the apartment.
“Initial investigations revealed that the three foreign nationals, aged between 38 and 46, were performing maintenance work on the fifth floor of the building using the skylift during heavy rain.
“Two men were pronounced dead at the scene due to severe head and body injuries, while the third, who sustained injuries to the head and chest, was rushed to Hospital Sultan Idris Shah, Serdang,” he said in a statement.
ACP Wan Azlan added that no criminal elements were found at the scene, and the case was classified as sudden death report.
