Thunderstorm warning for five states until 6pm


KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting five states until 6pm Sunday (March 15).

Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected in Perak (Kinta, Kampar and Batang Padang) and Pahang (Rompin).

The same warning has also been issued for Negri Sembilan (Seremban) and Johor (Tangkak, Segamat, Muar, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai and Johor Baru).

In Sarawak, the areas involved are Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Mukah (Daro and Matu), Kapit (Song), Bintulu (Tatau and Sebauh), Miri and Limbang. – Bernama
