Sultan Ibrahim pays RM10mil in Zakat


JOHOR BARU: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia, has paid RM10mil in zakat for the year 2026.

This was announced in a post on the King's official Facebook page on Wednesday (March 11).

The cheque was presented by His Majesty to Mohd Radzi Mohd Amin, chief executive officer of the Johor Islamic Religious Council, in a simple ceremony at Istana Pelangi.

The presentation of the payment was witnessed by Johor Mufti Datuk Yahya Ahmad and Johor Islamic Religious Department director Nasri Md Ali. – Bernama
