A 30-YEAR wait by the Hindu community in Johor Baru finally came to an end with the opening of the new Hindu crematorium in Masai, Makkal Osai reported.
The RM2mil facility was completed through the efforts of Yayasan Sultanah Rogayah chairman Datuk Sugumaran Raman.
State exco member K. Raven Kumar, who spoke at a special pooja in conjunction with the completion of the crematorium, said the facility will have its official opening on March 20.
