Rapid KL: LRT door system problem causes congestion

PETALING JAYA: Passengers are reminded of possible congestion at LRT interchange and connecting stations due to technical issues, says Rapid KL.

In its Facebook page, Rapid KL advised commuters from the MRT Kajang Line heading to KLCC to change trains at TRX station and use the Putrajaya MRT Line to reach Persiaran KLCC.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and greatly appreciate your cooperation and patience,” it said.

Rapid KL also updated for the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, stating that repairs to the train door and platform door system disruptions have been completed.

“The timetable is being adjusted, and train services will resume normal operations shortly.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience,” it said.

As of 5.30pm, the LRT Kelana Jaya Line frequency is updated to three minutes.

Earlier, Rapid KL reported that train services for the Kelana Jaya Line are experiencing delays due to a disruption to the train door system and platform door at KLCC Station.
