Bukit Sentosa fire destroys two homes


HULU SELANGOR: Two double-storey terrace houses in Bukit Sentosa were severely damaged in a late-night fire on Thursday (Jan 27).

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis, when contacted, said the fire occurred late Thursday night on Jalan Jenjarom 2.

"It is estimated that the fire destroyed around 70% of the first house and 90% of the second house.

"No casualties were reported," he said.

According to the Bukit Sentosa Fire and Rescue Department, in a social media post, they received a call about the incident at 11.54pm.

Upon arrival, the fire team found two double-storey terrace houses in flames.

Their efforts to put out the fire were assisted by members of the Kuala Kubu Baru and Rawang Fire Stations.

Also damaged in the fire were a car and three motorcycles.
