HONG KONG actor Lee Lung Kei ended his 14-year romance with Chris Wong, who is 36 years his junior, in a twist akin to a TVB drama.

China Press reported the 75-year-old Lee found out that Wong, a Chinese national whose real name is Wang Qingxia, was married with a 16-year-old son.

“Now I fully understand the situation, I am actually the third party in this relationship,” Lee said.

Although wishing Wong and her family well, Lee said that he need not apologise to Wong’s husband and son because he was kept in the dark about Wong’s marriage.

“It has ended, and we’re done,” he said.

Wong was filmed by paparazzi returning to her husband’s hometown in Foshan, China, including having a reunion meal during the Winter Solstice on Dec 21.

Lee went public with their relationship in 2020 with the couple staying in the media spotlight owing to their age gap.

> Kwong Wah Yit Poh reported that a netizen heaped praises on Hong Kong Cantopop star Eason Chan for helping a truck driver park his vehicle recently.

A netizen said he was having a chat with the singer, 51, when the truck driver encountered difficulties in manoeuvering into a parking space next to a restaurant.

He said Chan offered to help by moving a sign board near the restaurant. The singer was seen moving the signboard back to its original position before thanking the restaurant owner for allowing the driver to park there.
