PETALING JAYA: The resignation of several Perikatan Nasional leaders in the past few days was not as considerable as expected, says PAS information chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari.
"Looking at the wave of resignations within Perikatan, which happened within the past two days, it was not as major as expected," he said in a Facebook post on Thursday(Jan 1).
He said several state-level leaders are remaining in their respective roles while waiting for the directive of the new Perikatan chairman.

Perlis recently saw a leadership change after Mohd Shukri Ramli stepped down as mentri besar, citing health reasons.
Earlier, eight assemblymen – three from PAS and five from Bersatu – reportedly withdrew support for him through statutory declarations submitted to the Perlis Ruler.
PAS then sacked its three assemblymen.
On Sunday (Dec 28), Bersatu's Abu Bakar Hamzah was sworn in as Mentri Besar.
