PETALING JAYA: Some 713 single mothers, 51 cancer patients and 99 dialysis patients in Ayer Hitam received timely aid on Monday (Dec 8).
The aid under Bantuan Kasih Johor was presented to them by MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, who is also Ayer Hitam MP, as well as Yong Peng assemblyman Ling Tian Soon.
"Back to my constituency in Ayer Hitam," said Dr Wee in a statement on Facebook.
He expressed hope that the assistance would provide the recipients with some much-needed relief.
"Hopefully, the aid given will bring some comfort to them and I wish nothing but the best for all of them," he said.
