Rancakkan Madani reflects govt's commitment to transparency, says PM’s aide

PETALING JAYA: The Rancakkan Madani Bersama Malaysiaku programme reflects the Madani government’s commitment to transparent annual reporting as it enters its third year, said the Prime Minister’s senior press secretary, Tunku Nashrul Abaidah.

“These three years, marked by challenges and change, have demonstrated a consistent commitment. Our resolve has never wavered — to drive reforms, strengthen good governance and ensure that every policy and initiative truly benefits the people,” he said during a live telecast on social media on Friday (Dec 5).

Tunku Nashrul said this year’s programme follows Setahun Bersama Kerajaan Madani in 2023 and Dua Tahun Bersama Kerajaan Madani in 2024, providing an important platform to showcase achievements, policy progress and reform outcomes in a transparent and easily understood manner.

Running from Friday (Dec 5) to Sunday at Dataran Putrajaya, the event serves as a key meeting point between the government and the public.

He said various initiatives across eight main segments — including Produk Rakyat Madani, Belia Madani, public service reform, social wellbeing, international relations and preparations for Visit Malaysia Year 2026 — are brought together to present what he described as a “holistic and accessible ecosystem of government policies”.

“Over these three days, the public can access direct services from ministries and government agencies, take part in family activities, attend career carnivals, obtain health screenings, enjoy Jualan Rahmah, explore safety exhibitions, participate in STEM-AI and TVET programmes, as well as engage in sports, transport and tourism activities.

“This also includes a motorcycle helmet exchange initiative — all designed to ensure direct benefits to the people,” he said.

Tunku Nashrul said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to officiate the closing ceremony and meet the public this Sunday.

Beyond services and exhibitions, he added, the programme also provides an important platform for Malaysians to interact with national leaders, strengthening public trust and helping policymakers better understand current needs.

“The presence of the Prime Minister, Cabinet members and senior government leadership offers an opportunity to hear the voices of the people up close and reinforce the relationship of trust that forms the foundation of Malaysia Madani,” he said.

He encouraged Malaysians to attend and fully utilise the opportunities available throughout the programme.

“Rancakkan Madani represents the Madani government’s determination to serve more efficiently, more transparently and to remain firmly on the path of reform — towards building a prosperous, competitive and thriving nation,” he added.
