Voters want a rep who understands their challenges, says BN's Sg Sibuga candidate

KOTA KINABALU: Make every vote count towards real development, resilient communities and a prosperous Sabah, says Sabah Barisan Nasional information chief Datuk Suhaimi Nasir.

With less than three hours before the Sabah polls campaign ends, Suhaimi urged voters to stand up and be counted.

Suhaimi, who is contesting the Sungai Sibuga seat, thanked constituents for welcoming him into their homes and sharing their hopes for the future.

"This campaign has been about hearing the rakyat’s voice and ensuring it shapes real solutions. The people have spoken with their questions, their ideas, and their expectations," he said in a statement on Friday (Nov 28).

Suhaimi said voters want a representative who understands their daily challenges, fights for their needs, and delivers results without excuses.

"That is the role I promise to continue fulfilling," he said.

Barisan, he said, embodies leadership that listens, works, and delivers tangible change for the community and Sabah as a whole.

He further described the last few hours of campaigning as critical.

"Let us maintain a peaceful environment and make every vote count towards real development, resilient communities and a prosperous Sabah," he said.

Suhaimi is in a five-cornered fight for the Sungai Sibuga seat against contenders from Gabungan Rakyat Sabah, Warisan, Perikatan Nasional and Parti Impian Sabah.

Sabah is holding its state polls tomorrow (Nov 29).
