New court date for sexual assault case by security guard, partner on minor

Seremban: The Sessions Court has fixed Dec 23 for the next mention of a case involving a 22-year-old female security guard jointly charged with her lover with committing physical sexual assault on a nine-year-old girl in a school toilet in Rembau.

Judge Surita Budin made the decision after Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Balkis Zunaidi told the court that the victim's medical report was not ready.

Nor Aleeya Suhadah Mohamad, who worked in the school, and 25-year-old self-employed Muahmad Mohd Mohtar had on Oct 14 claimed trial to the charge.

They were charged with committing the offence in the pupils’ female toilet between 9.30am and 10.30am on Oct 7.

They were charged under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries a jail term of up to 20 years and whipping.
