vivo Malaysia has unveiled its latest X-series flagships, the vivo X300 and vivo X300 Pro, marking a new chapter in its innovation journey as the brand celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The X300 series underscores vivo’s commitment to user-centric innovation and technological excellence, featuring the groundbreaking 200 MP ZEISS Ultra-Clear Imaging, which sets a new benchmark in smartphone photography, according to a statement.
Beyond imaging, the series brings all-round upgrades in performance, design and operating system to deliver a smooth, refined and premium experience.
To showcase its performance, especially its 200 MP ZEISS APO Telephoto Camera, the vivo X300 series launch was livestreamed and recorded using the vivo X300 Pro, which captured the event from multiple angles with clarity, speed and versatility.
The vivo X300 Pro debuts with the telephoto camera that features the upgraded Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB for 200 MP ultra-clear imaging experience. Its 50 MP ZEISS Gimbal-Grade Main Camera boasts a large 1/1.28″ sensor, and industry-leading CIPA 5.5-rated stabilisation, delivering more stable, faster and clearer shots while enhancing overall imaging performance.
The smartphone also includes the new Pro Imaging Chip VS1, which is said to significantly improve the speed of image output, clarity and noise reduction.
The vivo X300 is equipped with a 200 MP ZEISS Main Camera that features the Ultra-Sensing Sensor HPB and CIPA 4.5-rated stabilisation, achieving a pro-level imaging leap by capturing even more stable and ultra-clear shots.
The vivo X300 series also sees a full upgrade to its front camera, a 50 MP ZEISS Wide-Angle Front Camera equipped with autofocus, ensuring sharpness at various distances.
Expanding the imaging ecosystem, both models are also compatible with the vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender Kit.
Enhanced photography and videography capabilities
For leisure and creative use, Stage Mode 2.0 captures every angle of the user’s moments with 4K Stage All-in-One Recording, allowing HD photo capture while filming, thus delivering image quality comparable to photo mode. Dual-View Stage Video lets users record simultaneously using any two cameras, capturing both performer and the user in one frame.
Portrait photography is further enhanced through ZEISS Natural Portrait, Multi-Focal HD Portrait and Night Portrait, which intelligently adjusts to lighting conditions, along with Portrait Snapshot available across all focal lengths.
For videography, both models support industry-leading 4K 120 fps Pro Video, while the vivo X300 Pro adds support for 4K 120 fps Dolby Vision Video and 4K 120 fps 10-bit Log Video, enabling cinematic dynamic range and flexible post-production.
The introduction of AI Image Studio boosts creativity with features such as AI One-Shot Multi-Crop, AI Landscape Master and Live Photo Passerby Erase, making photo editing and enhancement seamless.
vivo also introduced OriginOS 6 alongside the X300 series, offering users a smarter, more intuitive experience powered by Ultra-core Computing and the Origin Smooth Engine for seamless performance.
At its core, the Dimensity 9500 chip co-developed with MediaTek powers the X300 series with top-tier speed and efficiency. Supported by a 12-core GPU, advanced NPU and the BlueVolt Battery System, it delivers strong performance with longer battery life.
The series features a Unibody 3D Glass build and smooth, fingerprint-resistant coral velvet glass. Available in refined shades like Phantom Black, Mist Blue, Halo Pink and Dune Brown, the series blends modern style with sophistication.
