Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang expected to be hit first by Northeast Monsoon


KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang are expected to be the first states hit by continuous heavy rainfall during this Northeast Monsoon, which began on Thursday (Nov 13) and is forecast to last until March next year.

MetMalaysia deputy director-general (Operations) Ambun Dindang said the monsoon, moving from north to south, typically affects these three states first from November to December before extending to Pahang and Johor in the next phase.
