GEORGE TOWN: The Penang Public Works Department (JKR) has announced the closure of Federal Road FT006, which runs from Teluk Bahang to Balik Pulau near here, from Friday (Oct 24) until Sunday.
In a Facebook post, Penang JKR said the closure is due to a landslide that occurred along the road on Thursday and Friday.
"The closure will be in effect from 6pm Friday until 6 pm on Sunday to allow for road clearing and related works. Road users in the area are urged to cooperate during this period," read the post. - Bernama
