BANGI: Effective Jan 1, 2026, operators of food premises across 20 city areas will not be allowed to renew their business licences if they fail to ensure their toilets are at the bersih, menawan and wangi (clean, attractive, pleasant-smelling) level, says Nga Kor Ming.
The Housing and Local Government Minister said strict action would be taken as premises owners had been given ample time to understand the new policy.
