Customs thwarts four attempts to smuggle out over one tonne of ganja worth nearly RM100mil


PUTRAJAYA: The Customs Department has thwarted four attempts to smuggle over 1,000kg of cannabis valued at approximately RM98mi in separate operations around the Klang Valley and Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 recently.

KLIA Customs director Zulkifli Muhammad said this was the result of swift action from its enforcement division, in collaboration with several other security agencies, including the Border Control and Protection Agency (AKPS).
