Zizi Kirana shares heartfelt gratitude after release from Israeli prison on social media


IPOH: Singer Zizi Kirana has posted on her social media after being released from the Israeli prison.

In her Instagram story, she posted “Alhamdulillah”.

Zizi was part of the Malaysian volunteers, who were part of the Global Sumud Floatilla(GSF) mission who were held by Israeli forces.

She also shared an Instagram post by Cinta Salam Malaysia showing GSF participants arriving in Istanbul, Turkiye.

In the caption, Cinta Salam Malaysia lauded the volunteers for their unwavering spirit and steadfast commitment to the cause of Gaza.

“Tears fell seeing the fighting spirit of Malaysian activists recently released from Zionist detention.

“Despite enduring harsh conditions in Zionist prisons, their determination to stand in solidarity with Palestine remains unwavering.

“No hardship would break our resolve until Palestine achieves true freedom, even if it means risking our own lives,” the post added.

On Saturday (Oct 4) it was reported that a total of 23 Malaysian members of the GSF delegation who were in the custody of the Zionist regime since Thursday (Oct 2), have been safely taken out of Israel

Sumud Nusantara Operations Centre (SNCC) informed that a special plane carrying all the Malaysian activists departed from Ramon Airport, Israel, bound for Istanbul, Turkiye, on Saturday at 6.45pm Malaysian time.

Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan, in a Facebook post, had said all 23 Malaysians had departed on a special Turkish government flight, TK6921, from Ramon Airport.
