PM focuses on planning Madani Budget 2026 at Finance Ministry


KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was at the Finance Ministry in Putrajaya on Sunday (Oct 5) to plan Budget 2026.

"Today, I am at the Finance Ministry with the Treasury team, focusing on planning for the fourth Madani Budget 2026," he said in a social media post.

Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, is scheduled to table Budget 2026 in Parliament on Oct 10. 

Year in year out, the national budget has been on an expansionary trajectory, with the RM421bil for Budget 2025 being the largest ever. — Bernama
