Selangor Ruler confers Datin Paduka Seri title on Raja Muda’s consort


KLANG: Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah confers the Darjah Kebesaran Kelas Pertama Seri Paduka Mahkota Selangor (S.P.M.S.), which carries the title Datin Paduka Seri, on the Raja Muda’s consort.

Tengku Amir Shah’s newly wed wife is officially known as Datin Paduka Seri Afzaa Fadini Datuk Abdul Aziz.

The conferment was carried out soon after the akad nikah ceremony at Istana Alam Shah on Thursday (Oct 2).

The akad nikah ceremony was held with pomp and ceremony befitting the state’s much‑loved Crown Prince.

The royal bersanding ceremony and reception are scheduled to be held later this month.
