Selangor Crown Prince departs for akad nikah in royal motorcade

KLANG: Looking resplendent in a light-coloured baju Melayu, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Shah left the Sultan Abdul Aziz Royal Gallery at about 9.30am on Thursday (Oct 2) in a grand motorcade.

Flanked by escorts carrying symbolic royal regalia, the procession is making its way to Istana Alam Shah where his intended, Cik Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz, awaits.

The couple is scheduled to tie the knot in an akad nikah ceremony soon after Tengku Amir Shah arrives.

Awaiting the Crown Prince are Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, Tengku Permaisuri Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin, members of the Selangor royal family, the bride’s family and relatives, and invited guests.
