Selangor Crown Prince grateful for blessing from people ahead of royal wedding


PETALING JAYA: Selangor Crown Prince, Tengku Amir Shah Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, has expressed prayers for a blessed and beautiful future with his fiancee Afzaa Fadini Abdul Aziz.

In a message posted on his social media account on Thursday, Tengku Amir Shah prayed that their upcoming marriage would always be under Allah’s protection, filled with love, trust and mutual respect.

“I also pray that we will be blessed with a healthy and strong family, and that our relationship continues to grow stronger with love, trust and respect,” he said.

At the same time, the Crown Prince conveyed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of Selangor for their prayers and support in conjunction with the royal wedding.

“I extend my deepest gratitude to all Selangorians for the prayers offered.

"I am truly thankful for the sincere blessings and well wishes, especially through the special prayer gatherings held across the state in conjunction with my marriage to Afzaa Fadini,” said Tengku Amir Shah.

His message received thousands of heartfelt greetings on social media accounts, many wishing the duo a blessed wedding and others receiving their beauty together.

On Sept 22, Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah announced that his son Tengku Amir Shah would wed Afzaa Fadini on Oct 2.

According to a statement by the Sultan’s private secretary Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani, the Royal Solemnisation Ceremony will take place at the Royal Mosque, Istana Alam Shah in Klang.

He added that the Royal Bersanding Ceremony and Royal Banquet in honour of the marriage will be held at the Balairung Seri and the Royal Banquet Hall of Istana Alam Shah on Oct 22.
