Access to the Selama Perak Hindu cemetery will be restored and proper parking facilities installed at the site following intervention by authorities, reported Makkal Osai.

The access road to the cemetery became excessively narrow due to the company that owns the adjacent land backfilling the lot and raising its level.

Larut Umno branch chairman and former Selama assemblyman Datuk Mohamad Daud Mohd Yusof reportedly met with representatives from the company to discuss the issue.
