"Next, the cyclists will proceed to Banting, Kanchong Darat, Morib, Kampung Batu Laut, Tanjung Sepat, Sungai Pelek and Pekan Sepang before ending in Port Dickson," he said in a statement here on Tuesday (Sept 30).

Shazeli said for the eighth stage on Sunday (Oct 5), the race spans from Beranang to Semenyih, Jalan Sungai Lalang, Sungai Tekala, Jalan Hulu Langat, Jalan Ampang up to KLCC, covering the Kajang and Ampang Jaya areas with road closures starting at 2.55pm.

He said a total of 392 officers and police personnel, along with 235 Team Sahabat members including local authorities, will be stationed along the route to ensure smooth traffic flow throughout the event.

"In this regard, motorists are advised to avoid the routes affected during road closures, besides planning their journey to reduce inconvenience," he said.
