Ex-teacher cleared of sexual assault charge

IPOH: A former madrasah teacher walked free from charges of committing physical sexual assault on a 13-year-old boy five years ago in a dormitory.

The Sessions Court ruled that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against Muhammad Ikbal Izzuddin Abd Rahim, 29, who was a dormitory warden at the time of the alleged offence.
