King, Queen extend Malaysia Day greetings

PETALING JAYA: His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia and Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah, Queen of Malaysia, extend their heartfelt greetings for Malaysia Day ahead of the celebration on Tuesday (Sept 16).

Their Majesties, in a post on Sultan Ibrahim's official Facebook page, prayed that Malaysia would always be blessed with lasting peace and protected from any calamity.

Sultan Ibrahim also expressed gratitude for the unity and the spirit of solidarity kindled among the multi-racial citizens, which has remained the pillar of the country’s strength since the early days.

The Malaysia Day 2025 celebration, themed 'Malaysia Madani: Rakyat Disantuni,' will take place at the PICCA@Arena Butterworth Convention Centre on Tuesday, featuring a variety of engaging activities beginning at 9am.

This year's edition is being held in Penang, in line with the practice of rotating the venue between Sabah, Sarawak and Peninsular Malaysia each year.
