Bomba battles forest fire in Bandar Puteri

PETALING JAYA: Firefighters have been deployed to extinguish a forest fire near Bandar Puteri.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis, when contacted, confirmed the matter.

“The fire involved 2.3ha of forest. The fire is still raging and extinguishing works are still being conducted,” he said.

Earlier, the Malaysian Highway Authority posted images of the blaze, taking from a traffic camera on the Kesas Highway, on its official social media accounts.
