Bukit Aman praises RXZ Members 7.0 gathering organisers for cooperation

KUALA LUMPUR: Bukit Aman has commended the organisers and participants of the RXZ Members 7.0 gathering in Terengganu for their cooperation in ensuring the smooth running of the event.

Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said collaboration with other units, including the police Air Wing, helped maintain safety and order throughout the programme.

"We thank the organisers for their close cooperation with the police. Appreciation also goes to all participants who showed a positive attitude by complying with rules and laws and cooperating with traffic officers during their journey to and from the event," he told reporters on the sidelines of the Special Dialogue III event on Tuesday (Aug 26).

Comm Mohd Yusri also reminded riders to be more cautious at future gatherings to prevent accidents, especially those that could result in fatalities.

"We will continue to cooperate with relevant agencies for future events, not only to assist organisers and participants but also to take firm action against any offences committed.

This includes reckless riding or actions that endanger other road users," he added.

So far, five deaths of participants have been reported following road mishaps.
