Terengganu firm on vape sales ban despite appeals

KUALA TERENGGANU: The Terengganu government remains firm on fully enforcing the ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes or vape, which took effect on Aug 1, despite appeals from certain parties to postpone it.

State local government, housing and health committee chairman Datuk Wan Sukairi Wan Abdullah said the state government had given ample early notice of the ban and provided sufficient time, about seven months, before enforcement began.
