RM51bil defence, security allocation in 13MP show of recognition, says Saifuddin

KUALA LUMPUR: The RM51bil allocation for the defence and security sectors in the 13th Malaysian Plan (13MP) signals the government's recognition of security as a key pillar of national stability and growth, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The Home Minister said strengthening the operational, logistical, and technological capacities of security forces is vital in an increasingly complex world, with rising transborder threats, smuggling, cybercrime, human trafficking, and extremism.
