Woman rushed to KL Hospital after experiencing breathing difficulties during rally

KUALA LUMPUR: A woman was rushed to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL) after experiencing breathing difficulties while taking part in a rally in the federal capital Saturday (July 26).

The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department operations centre said the woman, in her 30s, suffered breathing difficulties due to low blood sugar at about 4pm at Dataran Merdeka.

"The victim received initial treatment at the scene before being taken to HKL for further treatment," it said.

The rally involved five main locations - Masjid Negara, Pasar Seni, Masjid Jamek Sultan Abdul Samad, Masjid Jamek Kampung Baru and SOGO Complex - before participants converged at Dataran Merdeka. - Bernama
