PETALING JAYA: In the spirit of the upcoming National Day and Malaysia Day celebrations, the Madani Government has launched the “Bersama Malaysiaku” campaign - an initiative designed to celebrate unity and patriotism by showcasing the contributions of ordinary Malaysians.
Senior Press Secretary to the Prime Minister Tunku Nashrul Abaidah said the campaign reflects the government’s appreciation of the rakyat who have been the backbone of Malaysia’s progress, from the paddy fields to the skyscrapers.
“This nation was built by its people. From the rice fields to the towering cityscapes, Malaysia’s development has sprung from the hands of everyday individuals who serve in extraordinary ways.
“It is sacrifices like these that elevate the nation’s dignity,” he said during a live telecast on Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s official Facebook page on Thursday (July 24).
Running until Sept 30, Tunku Nashrul said the campaign invites Malaysians from all walks of life to share photographs that capture their everyday acts of service and contribution.
These images, collectively titled “Wajah Malaysia”, will be curated to reflect the country’s rich socio-economic and cultural fabric, he added.
Members of the public can participate by uploading their photos at the official campaign website: bersamamalaysiaku.malaysiamadani.gov.my.
He said selected images will be featured across the Prime Minister’s social media platforms, government agency channels, national television and digital billboards - serving as a visual reminder that independence is not merely a historical milestone, but a collective journey driven by every citizen.
Tunku Nashrul added that the campaign complements the aspirations of the 13th Malaysia Plan, which will be tabled by Anwar on July 31.
“The plan is centred on compassion and justice, a vision of nation-building that recognises every contribution, no matter how small, as vital to Malaysia Madani.
“Let us mark this National Month with a photograph that speaks a thousand words for the nation we love,” he said.
