University stabbing suspect remanded for four days


SUBANG JAYA: The man who allegedly slashed his ex-girlfriend with a knife at a private university here has been remanded for four days.

Investigations into Monday's (July 14) attack revealed that the incident was caused by the suspect's dissatisfaction with comments made by the victim, claiming that he had stopped her from leaving.

The victim remains under observation at the hospital due to her injuries.

Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed the matter.

In the incident on Monday, the suspect, a 21-year-old foreigner, had slashed his 20-year-old ex-girlfriend at the university.
