Man shot outside Penang school


BUTTERWORTH: A man was shot while waiting in his car outside Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Nyior here on Tuesday (July 1).

The shooting is believed to have occurred around 5.30pm.

It is learnt that the victim was ambushed by two assailants on a motorcycle, both wearing full-face masks.

Police have cordoned off the scene and police personnel from the Forensic Department can be seen scouring the area.

When contacted, North Seberang Perai OCPD Asst Comm Anuar Abdul Rahman confirmed the incident and said police have launched an investigation.
