MRSM bullying case: Two more arrested after another victim steps forward


BESUT: Two more Mara Junior Science College (MRSM) students here were arrested in connection with the recent bullying case.

According to Sinar Harian, Besut OCPD Supt Azamuddin Ahmad @ Abu said that police received a report from a second victim, 14, who claimed to also be a victim in the same bullying case.

"The second victim lodged the report at 3.58pm on Thursday (June 26).

"The student said that he had been bullied by the same group of students around 11.30pm on Tuesday (June 24) at the Putera dormitory," he said.

He added that the victim had suffered injuries to both his legs.

"We have arrested two more students, both 15, around 4pm on Friday," he said.

Earlier, five students had been remanded after a Form Two student at MRSM Besut claimed to have been bullied by a group of senior students in the Putera dormitory on Tuesday night, resulting in injuries to his abdomen, ribs and back.
