PKR National Congress: A call for unity in new leadership era

JOHOR BARU: Only hours after the party chose its new leadership team, delegates at the PKR National Congress urged members to unify and set aside their differences.

The delegate from Pahang, Mohd Zukri Aksah, said every party member, regardless of their position, has a role to play.

"Those who win will not win everything, and those who lose will not lose everything.

"As long as there are people who still believe in us, we can continue to serve the party in our own way," he said in his speech during the PKR national congress here on Saturday (May 24).

The Indera Mahkota PKR deputy branch chief urged members to work together for the good of the country.

"When the party wins, we all win together, and when it loses, we all lose together," he added.

Meanwhile, a representative from Perlis, Khalid Imran Ahmad, reminded delegates that winning or losing is part of any election.

"However, we cannot fight this battle alone.

"Those who win should not be too proud, and those who lose should not retreat.

"Everyone, win or lose, must work together as a team to face the upcoming general election.

"Let's not repeat our previous mistake," he said.
