Selangor cops announce traffic control measures ahead of Asean delegates’ arrivals

PETALING JAYA: Road traffic controls will be tightened for the arrivals of the Asean Summit 2025 delegates at two entry points, say police.

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan (pic), in a statement on Thursday (May 22), said that road controls will be in place on May 25 and May 26 for arrivals from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, and on May 25 for those arriving from Subang Air Force Base.

Roads will be affected from noon to 11pm on May 25 and from noon to 1pm on May 26 for delegations arriving from KLIA.

Roads used from KLIA will include the Elite Highway and near the Seri Kembangan R&R.

Meanwhile, the roads used by Asean delegates from the Subang Air Force Base will include Jalan Monfort and the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE).

These routes will be affected from 11am to 2pm on May 25.

“The police urge all road users to be aware of road closures and diversions that would be conducted in stages during this period,” he added.
