Drug abuse, addiction down 10.5%

PUTRAJAYA: The trend of drug abuse and addiction nationwide recorded a decline of about 10.5% in the first quarter of this year due to a significant drop in cases in Kelantan, says Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

The Home Minister said the number of cases involved drop­ped by 10.5% to 108,409 as of March, compared to 121,170 during the same period last year.
