Rafizi Ramli resumes YBM podcast in public setting

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli is back with his Yang Bakar Menteri (YBM) podcast, but this time the Economy Minister will be moving away from the studio and into a public space.

The Economy Minister said he will use the opportunity to answer questions and provide explanations on the latest developments.

"This time the YBM podcast will be taken out of the studios to a space which is open to the public," he said.

"I will take this opportunity to offer an explanation and answer questions related to the issues and hot polemics that have been doing the rounds over the past one to two weeks," he said in a post on X on Thursday (May 8).

The event is scheduled to take place at 9pm on May 10 at Dewan Serbaguna MBSJ in Seri Kembangan, Selangor.

Rafizi recently received criticism for going on leave amidst a global economic crisis. His absence also fuelled rumours that he would be resigning from his cabinet position.

However, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim later dismissed the rumours of Rafizi’s resignation.
