Perak targets 500 EV charging stations by year-end

IPOH: Perak is powering ahead with its electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure plans, aiming to install 500 EV charging stations statewide by the end of this year, in line with Malaysia’s broader push towards green mobility.

Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad said the initiative forms part of the national target of 10,000 EV chargers and is aimed at supporting the increasing adoption of electric vehicles, particularly in Perak.
