Defeated Sabah PKR secretary to challenge Kota Marudu results

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah PKR secretary Sazalye Donol Abdullah will file a protest with the party's central election committee following his defeat in the Kota Marudu division election.

"I will make an official protest to the party's central election committee soon," said the special officer to the Chief Minister.

He said the online voting system did not allow for much transparency, and there were no witnesses during the tallying of results.

"I am questioning the transparency of the PKR 2025 party election results. I have previously voiced this several times that this will happen, but the PKR central party ignored the grievances voiced by the grassroots," he said.

Sazalye lost his northern Kota Marudu post to the Sabah PKR youth chief Zaidi Jatil during the division election.
