K’tan, T’ganu PKR chiefs retain division head posts


KUALA LUMPUR: Kelantan PKR chairman Datuk Seri Mohd Suparadi Mohd Noor has retained his position as Tanah Merah Division chief in the 2025 PKR elections at the division level held on Friday.

He secured 1,108 votes, defeating his challenger Mohd Hanuzi Zaharim, who garnered only 351 votes.

Suparadi’s victory was announced via the official PKR 2025 elections portal at https://pemilihan.keadilanrakyat.org.

Also successfully retaining his division chief post was Terengganu PKR chairman Ahmad Nazri Mohd Yusof, who emerged victorious in a tightly contested race in Kemaman.

He won with 383 votes, defeating three challengers - Amir Hamzah Ghazali (370 votes), Hasuni Sudin (244 votes), and Saikri Ngah@Choh (92 votes).

The PKR elections for the division level entered the second phase of polling on Friday (April 18), with nearly 30,000 registered members in Terengganu and Kelantan casting their votes.

The voting process, held both physically and online, took place from 8am to 5pm.

Besides Terengganu and Kelantan, the second phase of polling, which runs until this Sunday (April 20), also involves the Federal Territories, Pahang, Penang, Johor, and Sabah.
