Immigration Dept rescues Bangladeshi man from forced labour exploitation


KUALA LUMPUR: The Immigration Department rescued a Bangladeshi man believed to be a victim of forced labour exploitation by his fellow countrymen during an operation at two construction sites in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, on Thursday (April 17).

The operation, conducted at about 10.40am, involved the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Division and the Anti-Money Laundering Investigation Team from the Immigration Headquarters in Putrajaya.
