SONGSTRESS Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza (pic) can thank her hard work and strategic planning as she marked her 30th year in the music industry.
“You must plan ahead – think five to 10 years forward. That was instilled in me by my former label Suria Records and current management,” she told Metro Ahad.
Despite personal and professional commitments, she remains dedicated to her craft.
“Even during breaks for pregnancy or other obligations, I make sure something is released so the public doesn’t forget me,” she said, thanking her long-time manager Rozi Abdul Razak.
Connected deeply to traditional music, Siti shared her intention to produce a traditional music album as well as Malaysia’s largest traditional concert.
“There were a few venues I had in mind, but they were already fully booked. Hopefully, the concert I’ve been dreaming of can happen next year.”
