Sabah Barisan and Pakatan confirm partnering for next state polls

KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Barisan Nasional has confirmed it will partner with Sabah Pakatan Harapan to face the upcoming state election, signalling a united front to reclaim the state’s political direction and address long-standing issues.

State Barisan chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the decision was finalised during a retreat held late last year, with the coalition confident that the partnership would strengthen their chances at reclaiming voter support in Sabah.

“We have made our decision. Sabah Barisan will cooperate with Pakatan Harapan,” he told reporters during his Raya open house on Sunday (April 13).
