Manufacturers on urgent lookout for energy alternatives


PETALING JAYA: Industries across Malaysia are scrambling to secure alternative energy sources as natural gas supply disruptions threaten to derail production at more than 250 factories nationwide.

As of April 7, more manufacturers – particularly in Klang Valley, Kedah, Perak, and Penang – have received gas curtailment notices.
