MERSING: An express bus travelling from Johor Bahru to Terengganu veered off the road and crashed into a house early on Sunday morning (March 30) at Kilometre 6, Jalan Endau-Mersing.

Mersing District Police Chief Superintendent Abdul Razak Abdullah Sani said information about the accident was received at approximately 1.15am.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the bus lost control while trying to avoid a car entering a junction," he said in a statement on Sunday.
